I am
an environmental educator, researcher and reflexive practitioner in the field
of social-ecological systems.
My interest is to continually deepen my philosophical, conceptual and transdisciplinary understanding of the human-ecological dynamic and how to achieve just, equitable and sustainable development outcomes and then share this with others to empower positive action.
My doctoral thesis was in Water Resource Science, with a strong focus on
environmental education.
The thesis explored:
1. The deeper underlying mechanisms at play
driving modern society on this trajectory of ecological degradation
2. Transformative possibilities
There have
been a number of key experiences that have deepened my commitment to earth care
and social justice – and the journey of writing this thesis was a profound one.

system and an environmental education initiative that aimed to support its
